Die Sicherheit auf dem Campus
Um alle hier mal ein wenig zu beunruhigen… Lest, was bei uns an der Uni so passiert:
“SEXUAL ASSAULT
Toronto, 8 September 2007
Toronto Police Service is currently investigating two sexual assaults and an attempted sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours on Friday, September 7th, 2007 at Vanier College Residence. Police are looking for two male assailants involved in both incidents. Toronto Police Service has issued the following descriptions:
Suspect #1: Male, white with a dark complexion, early 20’s with short dark hair, 5’5” to 5’7”, wearing blue jeans and running shoes.
Suspect #2: Male, white, 6’-6’1”, slim build, early 20’s, short light colored hair, wearing blue jeans.
According to police, the two suspects sexually assaulted the first and second victims, followed by an attempted assault of another woman. They also entered three other rooms but were scared off. Should you have any information with respect to these sexual assaults or information that may assist the police you are asked to contact Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit directly at 416.808.7474 or Crime Stoppers at 416.222.TIPS. Irgendwie sind nachts zwei junge Männer in eine Campusresidence eingedrungen und haben dort zwei Mädchen in deren Zimmern, sie hatten die Türen nicht abgeschlossen, sexuell angegriffen, was auch immer das heisst.
Seitdem ist auf dem Campus die Security mehr als verdoppelt und es wird kontrolliert, ob die Studenten ihre Zimmertüren abschliessen - wenn nicht (so letzte Nacht bei einer Freundin passiert) betreten sie nachts um 2 dein Zimmer, um dir mitzuteilen, dass du doch die Tür abschliessen solltest.
GoSAFE! Wenn ich alleine nach Hause gehe, kann ich einen Service anrufen, der mich nach Hause fährt - umsonst. Wenn das nicht Luxus ist?!
